The place is cozy and I felt being treated as a guest of your family,
rather than your client. All in all, my experience is fine. ...
Christina Chow, Hong Kong. June 2008.

Delightful in all respects. We can't think of anywhere in the world where
we have got/could get a better experience of another country - and of
course, we had some experience now of India, so can make comparisons.
Living 'en famille' is taking a risk, so we might tend to go for something
impersonal , like a hotel. But we can thoroughly recommend 'en famille'
when it's your 'famille' - everyone has been so kind and helpful. We
specially thank Padmaji for letting us in rather late at night (thanks to
the wedding revels)! The food was excellent - but we're not so surprised
to find that in India in general - WOW! ... Kenneth Smith, UK. June
2008.

Thank you so much! I had a delightful time here. Your hospitality is

For once in our many travels your home more than fulfilled the words in
the Travel book. It felt like coming home. The welcome and helpfulness
were wonderfully easy. Your home also manages entirely to reflect
yourselves and the care Y attention to detail - the cleanliness and
facilities were fine and what we needed. Clean water & a good shower & a
comfortable bed - let alone a/c - all contributed to an A++ stay. Thank
you. Outstanding feature - interested & informative & sensitive
involvement of the family - I felt valued. ... Adrian Foot, UK.

Comfortable, safe and welcome. My best memories are of my son Nicholas
playing chess with Lubna's father and of my sons playing a game with your
sons (using the Chinese feathered hacker sack) We loved the softness of
the mattress. The children found their pillows a little hard. The water
was hot, the room was cleaned regularly. The food was plentiful and
delicious. The laundry was cleaned efficiently. Our onward travel and our
Taj tour were smoothly booked and we were offered a range of travel
suggestions to help us with our ongoing trip. We feel secure knowing
Pervez can assist with future travel arrangements. your home gave us a
safe base from which to learn the ropes of travel in a culturally
confronting and diverse city. The breakfast was nourishing, substantial
and balanced. We loved the creamy, scrambled eggs, the variety of spiced
potato dishes and the fresh papaya. We have been given an insight into one
Indian family's life - an experience we would not have had in a hotel.
Lubna's shopping tour was relaxing and productive. The drivers were safe
and helpful and patient. Free safe drinking water was appreciated. Also
the air conditioner was good, quiet and easily adjusted for comfort. ...
Susan Wills, Australia. June 2008.

We were attracted by the
offers of cooking lessons and tours (via Alastair Sawday) . We loved
cooking with Lubna and the tours helped us get our bearings in this vast

welcome extended tour by Pervez, Lubna and Padma. Always ready to help out
with advice and suggestions, this added us to a very genial introduction
to India and Indians, and a relaxing and to our trip. Very ably supported
by the Boys who brought us much welcome bed chais !. The food was
excellent at breakfast and dinner, the rooms comfortable and homely. Will
recommend unreservedly to our friends in favors of impersonal hotels! Many

Our overall experience at your
home was excellent. As we hope we have shared with you, it was also a

wonderful. We enjoyed hearing about her family and life and appreciated
her graceful hospitality. Pervez's willingness to speak about all subjects
with guests in your home gives the feeling of having a conversation
between the friends, where everything can be said freely and different
points of view can be shared. Thank you for sharing our knowledge and
expertise of the city with us, and for all your support. Your home has

nice, the food excellent and the conversation enlightening. Thanks for
allowing me to experience life (even though short) with an Indian family.

Dear Pervez and Lubna, we
arrived at 2.30 in the morning and we were welcomed with a smile. You
organized our taxi drivers and again, everything was possible. After our
trip to Varanasi. We had another stay with you. When we arrived, you were
so enthusiastic. It was great and now after 2 weeks in Rajasthan and Goa,
we have had our last night at your place. It has been great, funny,
exciting, hot, a little extreme at times and entertaining. We remember the
many nice Indian people that we have met. You were one of those! We have
already thanked you and you said that you were only mirroring our openness
and happiness. Part of that is certainly because you have been so open and
great for us! Thank you again and you are a big part of our great memory
of India and it's great and charming people. Regards ... Hans and
Natalie (Dutch & German, Berlin) P.S. Not all generalisations are true

We loved the roof top room we

What a wonderful haven in the
middle of frantic Delhi! We have felt truly at home here - safe,
comfortable and fed on the most wonderful food, thanks to Lubna. Pervez is
incredibly knowledgeable and able to perform amazing feats - including
finding someone to change my traveller's cheques on a state holiday at 10
PM and , after a frantic long distance phone call from me, a car from Agra
at 1/8th of the price I had been quoted! We have thoroughly enjoyed our
stay here and will definitely be back ... Very best wishes and good luck
with the expansion. ... Judy Mallett, UK. April 2007.
-
Food, smiles and great
conversation, it's a combination you just can't beat. We had a fantastic
time at the Lubna and Pervez residence, to call it a bed and breakfast is
doing it a disservice. You really are welcomed into their home. With great
rooms and warm personalities. A whole hearted recommendation from ...

Mitchell, Adelaide, Australia. April 2007.

Many thanks for our relaxing &
enjoyable stay here. Pervez & Lubna made us feel relaxed & welcome in a
very hectic and bustling city. I only hope we experience similar warmth

feeling more resilient to any hurdles or disappointments we may receive on
the way. I am sure this B&B will do nothing but improve, and its success
will be well deserved. I can't believe we've been here three days already
as the time has flown, as it always does with good company & good food.

This has been a wonderful place
to stay, and Pervez, Lubna and the family have been extremely welcoming to
our family. As we have been traveling with our 7 month old son, some
hotels and restaurants can be difficult - but staying and eating here has
been a great experience, and we have been touched by the lengths to which
our hosts have gone to accommodate and assist us and our baby sone. We
will definitely
recommend the Delhi Bed & Breakfast to others! ... Michael, Olga &

Well where do you start? It is
no understatement to say that without Pervez we would be having a very
different Indian experience. Today we went to places that are best
described as "off the tourist path". We started the day with no passports,
no money, no camera, no airtickets, no baby gear and a single Rickshaw
number -0432-. Oh, and the incomparable Pervez. We ended it sitting around
the dinner table eating Lubna's wonderful food and laughing through our
day's events. Thanks to everyone in a better position to help us to enjoy
and manage our way through Delhi. ... Richard, Kali and Harry Stove,
